Christy Acree grew up in Point, LA and graduated from Downsville High School in 2001. She has two daughters, Madelyn and Alexis, and two grandsons, Drake and Dutton. From an early age, Christy was always obsessed with animals and would immediately gravitate to them wherever she was. She knew animals would be a part of her career choice. She began working in veterinary medicine in 2011 and hasn’t regretted her decision! In her spare time, she rehabs wildlife and has a passion for bottle-feeding abandoned/orphaned kittens. She has a hobby farm that keeps her busy, as well as her cats and dogs.
