Stepheni — Secretary, SOS Pets of Ouachita Stepheni is a proud Marine Corps Veteran and lifelong animal lover who brings dedication, discipline, and heart to every part of her work. She currently serves as an Air Traffic Controller at Monroe Regional Airport, balancing a demanding career with an impressive level of community involvement. In her spare time, Stepheni volunteers with several nonprofits, including SOS Pets of Ouachita, where she serves as Secretary. She is also the Quartermaster at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1809, actively participating in numerous Veteran and community projects throughout the region. Her commitment to service has not gone unnoticed — Stepheni was honored as the KTVE/KARD 2026 Remarkable Woman, a recognition celebrating her extensive volunteerism, leadership, and impact on the community. At home, Stepheni’s love for animals shines just as brightly. She currently cares for five inside cats, one outside cat, and one dog, each one a cherished part of her life. Stepheni is deeply proud of the work SOS Pets is doing in Ouachita Parish and grateful to be part of a mission that continues to change lives.
